He created the Multiple Contingencies Management (MCM) approach to psychotherapy, which helps practitioners to deal with the increasingly diverse and complicated challenges of contemporary clinical practice.

Together with colleagues at the University of Toronto, he is developing an alternative approach to cross-cultural practice. The Integrative Cross-Cultural Psychotherapy (ICCP) Model is the result of more than a decade of research and theory development.

The SSLD (Strategies and Skills Learning and Development) System is developed by Ka Tat Tsang based on over thirty years of experience in applying social skills training procedures to a wide range of practice situations. The SSLD System enables clients to deal with situations in life and realize their desired goals more effectively through learning and developing strategies and skills.

Apart from his professional practice, Ka Tat Tsang enjoys reading, movies, traveling, cooking, and talking to friends.

He likes Chinese tea, which can be just a drink or a passage to spiritual reflection.

He studies Taichi and yoga, and exercises regularly.
